(Challenge)
Desks fill up with separate devices, each with its own cable, while all-in-one products can’t be rearranged or repaired, so one broken part means buying the whole thing again.
(Objective)
Design a system that clears the desk and adapts to the task at hand: the user picks the modules they need, places them on any side of the keyboard, and takes just the keyboard along when they change desk.
(Results)
The full set of nine modules with technical drawings and a cost analysis, plus 1:1 prototypes in 3D-printed resin with laser-cut polypropylene, used for typing tests on the ortholinear layout.
